Job 33:8-12

8 “Surely you have spoken in my ears,
and I have heard the sound of your words.
9 You say, ‘I am ^apure, without ^btransgression;
I am clean, and there is no iniquity in me.
10 Behold, he finds occasions against me,
he ^ccounts me as his enemy,
11 he ^dputs my feet in the stocks
and ^ewatches all my paths.’
12 “Behold, in this you are not right. I will answer you,
for God is greater than man.

Job 42:3-6

3 ^f‘Who is this that hides counsel without knowledge?’
Therefore I have uttered what I did not understand,
things ^gtoo wonderful for me, which I did not know.
4 ‘Hear, and I will speak;
^hI will question you, and you make it known to me.’
5 I had heard of you by the hearing of the ear,
but now my eye sees you;
6 therefore I despise myself,
and repent ^{▼▼Or and am comforted} in ^jdust and ashes.”
